**Important** You cannot simply make up a registration number and use it on the UK highway. Either yourself or the person you’re buying for must already own the registration number you will use.
We do NOT sell registration numbers; we simply make replacement number plates for registration numbers you already own.

Attaching a custom plate to your car is easy. Every Plate Express custom reg plate comes with a free fitting kit that will allow you to attach the plate yourself simply using a screwdriver and the included sticky pads.

How to fit a custom number plate:

1. Remove the caps on the existing plate
2. Unscrew the old plate
3. Fit the sticky pads (provided) to the back of your new plate in 3 equally placed positions
4. Align your new plates with your vehicle
5. Remove the backing stickers from the adhesive pads and press the plate firmly to the vehicle

You can also screw your new plate to your vehicle in the same manner as your old plate.

Plates Express offers FAST delivery when you make an order within the dispatch deadline (shown at the top of each page). However, due to couriers and Royal Mail we cannot offer a guaranteed next-day delivery service. Currently, 92% of orders made before 2pm on a weekday arrive the next day.

You may cancel your order at any point. All we ask is that you contact us within an hour of ordering as your order will be then sent to print and at that point can no longer be cancelled.
However, due to the bespoke nature of our custom number plates we are unable to offer a full refund, though we can refund the cost of postage and fitting kits.

Each of the plate styles we offer are legal in the UK. Make sure to select ‘Legal Plates’ on the ‘Plates Layout’ dropdown before ordering your new plates. This includes all of the text styles we offer, such as 3D GEL number plates, 4D number plates, and 5D number plates.
